The JJ O'Brien Memorial Raffle
- Walker Jones and The Mountain Dawg Tournament have teamed up and are raffling off a new 2010 Honda Fit Car. Tickets are $100 per chance and all proceeds will benefit the "JJ O'Brien Memorial Scholarship Fund"

· The JJ O’Brien Raffle – The tournament committee will sell one hundred chances at one hundred dollars each. There will be three winners to this raffle. 1st Place = $6,000, 2nd = $1,000 and 3rd Place = $500.00. This raffle will benefit the JJ O’Brien Scholarship Fund at Greenbrier East High School
James Joseph O’Brien was born in 1953, the sixth child of Helena and Kenneth O’Brien. He is being remembered through a scholarship fund honoring a student at the school he loved so much, Greenbrier East High School. He was a 1971 graduate, tackle on the football team, and an all around favorite son.
He attended and loved West Virginia University remaining, undeniably, their number one fan.
Starting his career as a laborer with the then Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad, he retired after thirty five years as the manager of the Louisville Division of CSX Railroad.
