Corporate Cup

It seems that everywhere you turn; we are inundated with talk about our economy. But that did not stop 20 area businesses from sponsoring a team in our Annual Corporate Cup Event. The Brier Inn, First National Bank, Morgan & Morgan, Bill Lewis Motors, Greenbrier Real Estate, Abb, Brown Construction, American Beer, The Greenbrier, Four Jaks Inc, Doug Bicksler & Tom White, Ron Brothers Insurance, Erlewine Construction – Rocky Estep, SJ Neathawk, Kevin Workman, BB&T Bank, Carson & Criddle LLC, Dr. Richard Marshall DDS, and Greenbrier Physicians all sponsored a team in our annual corporate cup event.

This year’s event was won by Greenbrier Physicians with a score of 53 and runners up were First National Bank (56) and Brown Construction (57). This year the Corporate Cup awarded family memberships to the winning teams, rounds of golf to area golf courses, Callaway wedges, Titleist Pro v1 golf balls, Callaway carry bags, Callaway Hybrids and much more.

The Corporate Cup staff and the members of the Lewisburg Elks CC would like to thank all of the corporate sponsors for their donation. This year the Corporate Cup event raised $16,500.00 and brings its three year total to $48.000.00. With all the focus on growing our business and growing the number of rounds played, we can not lose sight of our core business, represented by our members and the businesses mentioned above. It is these man and women that keep our rounds healthy and our improvements possible in spite of a negative economy.

Golf is the preferred choice of recreation for millions of people from all walks of life; men, women, kids, and seniors view golf as a sport that provides them a fun, friendly activity in a healthy, outdoors setting.
